Mini Review – Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes Mascara

Hi, and happy weekend!! It’s been a busy one here, painting my daughter’s room (though my 13 year old son did most of the work!) and enjoying the sun after a week of rain!!

I wanted to give a quickie review and share some pics of the newest Maybelline mascara. I was really excited about this double ended mascara, because it has a tiny brush for your lower lashes! I have only used it 3 times, but I really like it so far.

Maybelline masc1

The pros – Inexpensive, nice dark black, non clumping, non flaking, non irritating and it separates lashes nicely.

As for cons, I guess this could be one. If you are expecting volume like The original Falsies or Falsies Flared, you won’t get it. This is more of a lengthening mascara, with a natural look. I haven’t tried layering it with a volumizing mascara on top, but I will!

So far I am super happy with this new mascara, and love having upper and lower brushes in one! Oh, sorry I didn’t take pics. My lashes are really brittle and just not pretty right now. I started loosing my lashes about a year ago on the lower left eyelid and I have an ugly bald spot that doesn’t look very nice. :(

Have you tried this mascara yet? What’s your favorite mascara? I have a lot I like, and usually layer two kinds and switch back and forth. Right now I’m loving Buxom mascara and CoverGirl Clump Crusher in addition to this Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes.

Oooh, thanks for reviewing this! I have the original Falsies, but was kind of disappointed by how clumpy it left my lashes. I currently use Clump Crusher as my daily just because it is pretty easy to apply and does the trick. I will definitely try this version of the Falsies mascara though – can’t resist at least trying it!!

I have not tried this yet but I’m not one for lengthening mascaras. I do like the dual end. Do you think that makes it easier to use on upper and lower lashes?

When I used it this morning, the upper lash brush had thickened and I got a nice voluminous look! I LOVE the brush for the lower lashes. It’s really tiny and perfect for my patchy lashes. :)

I bet you would love this new Falsies too! The brush is a little smaller, and I am crazy about the lower lash brush! :)

Looks interesting. Love the 2 brushes. Most wands don’t work on my lower lashes so I like this one includes a separate tiny one!

Thanks for checking out my post Krystle! I think you’d like the little lower lash brush. It works really well, and doesn’t end up with too much mascara on it!
