I recently had a sample of Ole Henriksen’s Power Peel from Sephora. The Power Peel is a 3 step
spa grade exfoliation treatment containing Almond Polish, Lemon Strip Flash Peel and Chamomile Comfort.
Ole Henriksen is fast becoming my go-to brand for high quality, gentle and effective skin care.
I’ve never had such fast results in an at home exfoliation as I have with the Power Peel! I’ve tried many at home exfoliation treatments, from prescriptions, to my Clarisonic. I had immediate results with the Power Peel, as far as brightening of my skin, softening and smoothing. That was just with one use! I can’t wait to begin to use this regularly.
The first step of the Power Peel is the Almond Polish. This gentle exfoliant contains almond paste, oat kernel flour, bamboo powder and honey. It smells good enough to eat too!
Next you apply the Lemon Strip Flash peel which contains lactic, glycolic and fruit acids to gently
resurface and exfoliate. It’s a 20% professional grade Alpha Hydroxy peel. It also has algae extract to calm and soothe skin. Licorice extract reduces dark spots and brightens skin. I had no problems with burning or peeling during or after the Lemon Strip Flash peel.
After the peel is rinsed off your skin, apply the chamomile comfort to soothe and calm your skin. It contains chamomile, jojoba seed oil and evening primrose oil.
I applied my Pure Truth youth activating oil immediately following my Power Peel. My skin was unbelievably soft, smooth and brightened!
