I have been using several products from the Racinne Ultimate Hydra Perfection line this winter that have been a huge help in keeping my dry skin moisturized and smooth. Here in the east we’ve had a less than kind winter, with extremely cold weather, wind and snow. Luckily my skin is not suffering this year. I have been using two products with great results; Essentialift Supplement Serum and Advanced Luminous Gel. I spoke previously about them in a Friday Favorites post – Racinne Ultimate Hydra Perfection.
I have found the mask that I’ve been searching for in Racinne’s Aqua Blanc Brightening Masque. If you have skin that is on the drier side like me, you will want to pick this mask up. (You can order samples on Racinne’s website if you aren’t ready to commit to a full size!) Clay masks are great on occasion, but they tend to suck all of the moisture and life out of my skin. The Racinne Ultimate Aqua Blanc Brightening Masque contains Vitamin B3, or, Niacinamide, an amazing ingredient for brightening skintone and lightening dark spots. The mask feels like a lotion going on, and is extremely soothing. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, smooth and calm. I follow up the mask with the Essentialift Serum and Luminous Gel.
The mask is cruelty free, paraben free, and ideal for all skin types and tones. It also comes recommended by Lisa Eldridge, makeup artist extraordinaire! I didn’t even realize that she mentioned it in a YouTube video until I was on Racinne’s site!

The Optimal Fortifying Emulsion is a serum like product meant to give an added boost of moisture, in addition to your lotion or cream. I tested this several times, from a sample package. It does what it says, and sinks into my skin quickly. Something that’s not mentioned on Racinne’s website but I experienced is a slight tightening of my skin. Not in a bad way, but just the opposite. My face felt a little firmer. I used this under the serum and gel from the same line.
Have you tried anything from the Racinne range of skin care? I’m looking forward to reviewing more from the line!
