Stila Kitten Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eyeshadow

Good thing it’s so gorgeous with a ridiculously long name like that! Like many other makeup lovers, I have a love/frustration kind of thing going on for these new eyeshadows.
Sure, it’s the most gorgeous eyeshadow I own. But, it’s finicky and takes some practice and TIME.
Do NOT attempt this if you are in a hurry or don’t want to deal with a little clean up and fall out.

It’s best to use fingers as opposed to a makeup brush with these shadows. The set comes with a 0.07 oz pot of shadow described as a “buildable high metallic cream.” I would consider it more of a mousse texture. It’s very lightweight and soft. You also get 0.06 oz of stay all day liquid eye primer in a little dropper bottle and a little round tin tray for mixing the shadow and primer.

The shadow is very pigmented, so I would suggest starting with a small amount and adding more as necessary. Apply to your eyelid with your finger and build slowly depending on if you want a little sparkle and shine or some seriously opaque bling on your lids!

There are a few other colors I’d love to try, but the price point is a bit of a turn off. I know it’s not just the shadow you’re getting, but at $32 per shadow, who can afford to experiment?! That said, this is a unique product and I do like it.

Have you tried any of the Stila Magnificent Metals eyeshadows? What did you think?

Show me anything shiny, and I’ll all over it, like white on rice. Rolls eyes in NY. That eyeshadow is fabu. No denying it. It’s just tempermental and prone to diva-like behavior, now and again. But I love it. And I want to try it. Despite nobody being able to see my eyes through the glasses. Sigh.

    HEY! Almost forgot…

I received my order of the Ellovi Body Butter that you reviewed. Arrived quick! Thank you for writing about this product. Had I not read your post, I wouldn’t have know about it. And….it’s my new holy grail. I use it on my face, my hands/body/hair. Yes. I said HAIR. Just a little slip of a sheen n the palm, scrunched into the ends. An amazing product that has replaced my eye cream, night cream, and hair serum.

    I owe you. <3
