Those of you familiar with my blog know that I am skin care obsessed. I am always testing out new and different creams, serums and lotions. I have been wanting to try a derma roller, or micro needler, for a while. I have acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and some rough areas on my cheeks that I am hoping to target.
If you aren’t familiar with a Derma Roller, it’s a beauty tool with 540 1.0mm titanium alloy needles on a roller. If that sounds painful, don’t worry, it’s not! But as you know, we do suffer for beauty, don’t we?! If you are wondering why I was so excited to roll needles over my face, I have a good reason! Derma rolling stimulates collagen production, helps scars fade faster, aids in decreasing wrinkles, and allows serums and creams to penetrate more effectively. While I can’t attest to the following, I’ve heard it also will help with cellulite, reducing large pores and aiding with hair loss restoration.
Having used my Derma Roller twice, what I can tell you is this; it doesn’t irritate my skin, doesn’t hurt or leave me with redness. It does make my skin feel smooth, and it’s easy to use! I would highly recommend it, if you have hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, fine wrinkles or want to improve the texture of your skin.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
