Courtney has been Urban Decay obsessed for years. Find out what her must-have favorites are. Do you love them too?
Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil – This is a great velvet black shade, and come on, it’s Urban Decay! I love the brand but oddly enough I don’t like how Zero eyeliner looks on me. It pulls blue-gray, so I am happy to have a true black UD pencil now.
Benefit Lollitint – This is the newest addition to Benefit’s lip and cheek tint family. The candy orchid shade is a perfect example of how to wear Pantone’s color of the year, Radiant Orchid, with ease! I love purples, and this is a flattering shade for my neutral-cool skin tone.
Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in Acid Pink – This is my first Cailyn product, though the brand seems to be quite popular in beauty subscription boxes. I am shocked at the incredible pigmentation of this tinted lip balm. I would consider it more of a stain, but without any dry feeling. This lasts really well on my lips, and on my hand when I swatched it!
City Color White Gold Mousse Eyeshadow – This is actually my favorite item in the bag! I was initially disappointed that I didn’t receive the Elizabeth Mott champagne eyeshadow that some friends had in their bag. Until I swatched this shadow….it’s just gorgeous. My pictures do not do it justice! It’s got a smooth mousse texture and so much sheen! I’m looking forward to trying more City Color products!
Kiss Looks So Natural Flirty lashes – I don’t wear lashes, so these will be going to a friend that will use them. They look pretty, and I do like the tapered end for a more natural look!
I’m going to show my age here a little bit…but I saw an ipsy bag opening on You Tube and I was totally irritated that the vlogger didn’t know what was on the front of the bag. (Yeah, I’m cranky today…deal.)
It’s a record. And not the turntables you will see if you go clubbing. It’s an old school record player. For vinyl albums! Love it – so cute!
If you don’t have an ipsy subscription, feel free to use my affiliate link. Thanks! <3

Urban Decay Naked 3 palette debuted 12 all new neutral eyeshadows with a rosy theme. This Naked palette comes housed in a metal case, similar to the Naked 2 palette. It contains a new double-ended shadow blending brush and 4 samples of the ever popular Eyeshadow Primer Potions.
Urban Decay’s descriptions of the 12 Rosy toned shadows:
Strange – pale neutral pink matte-satin
Dust – pale metallic pink shimmer with iridescent micro glitter
Burnout – light pinky peach satin
Limit – light dusty rose matte
Buzz – metallic rose shimmer with silver micro-glitter
Trick – light metallic pinky-copper shimmer with tonal micro sparkle
Nooner – medium pinky-brown matte
Liar – medium metallic mauve shimmer
Factory – pinky-brown satin
Mugshot – metallic taupe shimmer with slight pink shift
Darkside – deep taupe-mauve satin
Blackheart – smokey black matte with rosy red micro sparkle
Here’s how I like to wear the Naked 3 shades:
Strange on my brow bone and inner corner, Limit and Nooner in the crease. This will give you a super easy, effortless matte look in no time.
Strange on my brow bone and inner corner, Dust patted on my lid with a flat brush sprayed with MAC Fix+, Mugshot in the crease, Darkside in the outer v, and blend the crease with Nooner.
Other info: Each shadow is 1.3g or 0.05 oz. Limit and Trick are the only vegan shades, however the rest contain carmine. You can find Naked 3 online at Urban Decay, Sephora, ULTA, Macy’s and beauty.com for $52.
Have you picked up the Naked 3 palette? What are some of your favorite looks with it?

I hope all my US friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Is anyone brave venturing out for Black Friday deals? I know I will be avoiding the crowds and craziness and staying home!!
I’m all about simplifying my makeup routine for summer. It’s hot and humid, I’m outside more and I just don’t feel like doing my normal routine. I want to look pulled together and not scare anyone with a bare face!
Here’s an eye look that is super easy to do in a hurry, and it holds up well in heat and humidity!
I used these shades from the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette
Venus – inner corner and brow bone
Foxy – above crease
W.O.S. – blending shade
Naked 2 – crease shade
Faint – outer v and smudged over gel liner
I used L’Oreal gel liner in brown and Buxom mascara. For my brows, I used Anastasia Brow Genius Kit. I have found that the Naked Basics palette works really well for filling in my brows too!
What are your beauty short cuts? I’d love to hear in the comments below!
I have swatches of three of the new Maybelline Color Tattoos for you!
The new shades have a really lovely duochrome finish to them.
They had a smooth finish when I swatched them, like what we have come to expect from Color Tattoos!
Seashore Frosts is a truly unique color. I’ve never seen another shadow like it, ever! It’s hard to describe, and harder to get a picture that does its gorgeousness justice. I would describe it as a blue green shade with a beautiful gold shift. I wore this patted on my lid over MAC Painterly paint pot, and it was a light blue gray with gold sheen. It lasted me a good 10 hours without creasing, but it did fade throughout the day.
Lavish Lavender is the next color I tried. I love purple, and find it to be the easiest color for me to wear on my eyes. The look I wore today was Painterly all over lid to brow, before Lavish Lavender on the lid up to my crease. I used my Urban Decay Vice palette for the other colors. I put Anonymous on the inner half of my lid and under my brow. I put Laced in the crease, and used this as my blending shade. I patted Rapture on the outer half of my lid and blended a bit into my crease. I intensified the crease with Vice and also put this in my outer V. I used MAC Prunella eye kohl smudged on my upper and lower lash lines. Then I patted Vice over the eyeliner. This is my favorite way to use UD Vice. It looks gorgeous as a liner!
The last shade I have is Cool Crush. This is the most shimmery of the bunch, and I’ve only swatched it. It is a silvery lavender-blue shade. I don’t have high hopes for this one, but maybe I will be surprised! 🙂
Have you tried any of the new Color Tattoos? I’d love to hear your ideas for color combinations if you have!
I hope you’re having a great weekend!
