Founder of Pure Natural Diva, Tania Ruben has made it her mission to craft a luxurious alternative to chemical fragrances. She offers an elegant organic perfume alternative to lab created fragrances, using only botanical ingredients. PND botanical perfumes are hand crafted in micro batches. Tania relies only on naturally sourced ingredients such as essential oils, absolutes, tinctures and minerals. PND products are perfect for the 30-40% of Americans that are allergic to mainstream scents. The majority are able to enjoy Tania’s perfumes without any adverse reactions.
The Pure Natural Diva line of organic perfumes consists of 4 scents, Pure, Natural, Diva, and Elixir.
Pure is sensually uplifting, like sunny day in a mixed field of lemongrass and Lavender. Notes include uplifting cassie, soothing chamomile, lemon, lime and an Egyptian neroli.
Natural is fresh and inviting: Imagine a picnic in a rose-bordered citrus grove. Notes include a hint of clary sage, exalting pink grapefruit, Moroccan rose, and soothing ylang ylang.
Diva is full of soul—sultry and mysterious. Notes include natural musk derived from Ambrette, sinfully smooth New Caledonian Sandalwood, blended together in a lusciously robust Vanilla.
Elixir wakens the senses, like a lingering morning with an ocean view. Notes include aphrodisiacal vanilla, a hint of oakmoss, exquisite osmanthus, married with rejuvenating pink grapefruit and red mandarin.
I love each scent, and think Pure Natural Diva offers a scent for every occasion. My favorites, are Diva which smells deliciously divine, a spicy and rich vanilla scent that feels slightly gourmand. Elixir is somehow soothing and enlightening at the same time. It’s scent is zesty and fresh, juicy and bright. A perfect scent for spring!!
As far as wear time, Diva lasts the longest on my skin, as I am able to smell it all day without a retouch. Elixir and Natural follow, lasting a solid 6 hours. Pure starts out robust, but settles into a soft and barely there calming scent.
Pure, Natural and Diva are available in a 5ml to go spray for $40 or $100 for a 50ml signature bottle. Elixir is $45 for 5ml and $150 for the 50ml bottle. Alternatively, you can purchase sample vials of the four scents for $16.
Pure Natural Diva also offers soap, body and room spray, organic hand and body wash, organic lotion, Whipped organic body butter, bath soak and Polished organic sugar scrub. I have been using the Whipped Body Butter, scented with Diva. I can’t even possibly begin to relate how amazing this coconut oil and shea butter cream is through words. I wish you could smell it! If you love a rich body butter, but don’t like the heaviness, you will LOVE this! It’s lightweight and fast absorbing but it’s a super nourishing cream!
The Whipped Body Butters are available in all four PND scents, and are vegan and cruelty free. A four oz glass jar is $30, with the exception of Elixir being $35. I can’t recommend Pure Natural Diva enough, whether you are looking for a less chemical/toxic scent or if you just love to try fragrances of all kinds. If you are looking for a unique and super special pampering Mother’s Day gift, consider a few goodies from Pure Natural Diva!

I’d love to hear which scents and products you are most looking forward to trying!
I was feeling a little sad during my last Trader Joe’s shopping trip. They have so many delicious looking pumpkin treats this year! Alas, none of them are safe for my finicky stomach. I stumbled on a tub of Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Body Butter, which is a limited edition item. You get an 8 oz tub for $4.99, which I think is an amazing deal for a vegan, high quality body butter!
I left the scent up to chance as the packaging was sealed with plastic. I was hoping that it wouldn’t have an overwhelming cinnamon scent, as so many pumpkin scents do. I love cinnamon, but in candles and body products it can mean an instant headache for me.
I’m happy to report the scent is a soft pumpkin/apple scent. If you are familiar with BPAL’s Pumpkin Patch scents from a few years ago, it reminds me of one that I used to have. I can’t remember which one it was, but I think it was from ’06 or ’07. The texture of the body butter is pretty amazing too! It’s more of a whipped souffle than a heavy body butter. Not that I mind a good, oily body butter, but this is different! I didn’t have to work at all to get the butter to disappear into my dry skin.
The scent doesn’t linger long, I’d say maybe an hour or so. One other thing I liked about this is the packaging. It has a flip top lid, rather than a screw on. It’s a just a little difference, but a great one! No fumbling with the cap when you have body butter on your hands!
Have you tried Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Butter? Let me know what body products you are loving this season!

One of my favorite aspects of being a beauty blogger is testing products and discovering new favorites. Obviously, I am a product junkie and love to try new things and write about them! I am thrilled to share with you today a product that I would easily say is my favorite moisturizer to date!
Ellovi Butter is a six ingredient natural and vegan body butter consisting of
- Macadamia Nut which is full of healthy fatty acids
- Coconut which revitalizes skin with proteins and amino acids
- Marula Nut used for anti aging
- Hemp Seed full of anti oxidants
- Shea a great natural healer
- non gmo corn
There is no water in Ellovi Butter, so there is no need to add any preservatives. Kelly Winterhalter, founder of Ellovi, mentions that Butter is so natural, you could eat it! It smells good enough to eat, but I think I will stick with using it as an all purpose butter!
Butter comes in a beautiful glass jar, containing 3.5oz of silky smooth body butter that immediately melts on skin. It feels like a balm, minus the greasy feel. I’ve been using my Ellovi Butter as a body butter, lip balm, hand and cuticle moisturizer. I haven’t tried it in my hair, but I’m fairly sure my hair would love a little bit on the ends!
You can purchase Ellovi Butter on their website HERE
A 3.5oz jar is $26, but Kelly is generously giving my readers a 20% discount with the coupon code “daydreaming.” I think Butter would make a lovely gift this upcoming holiday season. Just make sure you order
a jar for yourself! 😉
Earth Science is a brand that is new to me, but has been around for years. Earth Science strives for excellence, focusing on performance, purity and price. They use natural and pure ingredients, many of them fragrance free and suitable for the most sensitive of skins!
I love that Earth Science is active in the community, charities, and also a Carbon Free Partner, supporting programs to reduce their carbon footprint!
I was recently thrilled to have received the multi therapy ceramide healthy skin lotion for review. This lotion is fragrance free and proven to restore skin to a healthier state with continued use. Just look at the nourishing ingredients in the ceramide lotion:
Glycosphingolipids (plant ceramides)
Earth Science ceramide healthy skin lotion is fragrance free, vegan, and has a pH of 6.5-7.0. An 8 oz tube retails for $9.95 us. Honestly, I think this is such a bargain, all things considered. The lotion is concentrated, so you don’t use a huge amount for your entire body. The fact that I am putting healthy ingredients on my skin (the body’s largest organ!!) from a company that is eco conscious, I would expect to pay a little more!
Earth Sciences has a fabulous website with heaps of information and so many more products. You even get a coupon code when you sign up for the newsletter. Don’t take my word for it, check it out yourself here:Earth Science Naturals
