I have a few of the Bite Butter Cream Lipsticks that I previously shared HERE. I assumed these lipsticks would be less pigmented and lighter weight, like most other Butter Cream formulas. Now that I’ve had a chance to swatch and test these out, that couldn’t be further from the truth. This is a pigmented and really long-lasting formula from Bite. The “handcut” or flat top was fine for my lower lip, but my upper is a bit thin and I think I’d have an easier time with a lip brush next time.
All of the shades are nude or neutral. I have noticed the colors are not quite accurate on Sephora, so you may want to swatch these in person. Below are the shades I have.
Cream – almond nude
Caramel – fleshy nude
Hazelnut – brown pink
Moka – warm dark brown
The most flattering on my skin tone is the Hazelnut. I have a thing for brown-pink shades, so this is my jam! The Moka looks pretty too, it really isn’t too brown, but more of a brick-red with brown undertones. I can’t pull off Cream or Caramel, as light nudes make me look so washed out. I’m sure they would work on someone with a deeper or warmer skin tone.
The Bite Butter Cream Lipsticks lasted 5+ hours on me (without a lipliner) and that’s with eating and drinking. They are priced at $28 for 0.15oz, which is $4 more than the same size for the Bite Luminous Creme lipstick. What do you think about these? Any Bite Beauty Favorites?
