I have been loving the long-awaited US release of Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquers! They have been renamed from the UK version, which are called Apocalips. The lip lacquers are a gloss stain hybrid. They go on pigmented, shiny and creamy. I don’t have an issue with dryness at all. They stay moist and creamy on your lips, not drying out like long wear lip products usually do.
I get several hours of wear out of the Show Off Lip Lacquer and once the creaminess wears off a hint of a stain is left with the brighter colors.
Have you tried any of the Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquers? I’d love to hear what you thought!

Bare Minerals make the *best* lipglosses, hands down! They are pigmented, long-lasting (yes, really!) and come in a huge array of shades!
Today I have swatched Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie lipgloss “from day to play” mini set.
I’m loving this set for the variety of colors!

I have a few swatches for you today from a makeup brand that was unfamiliar to me. I can remember seeing TIGI cosmetics in a hair salon I used to frequent. I was pleasantly surprised when I received these eyeliners and long wearing shadow.
The colors I have swatched for you are blue perfect eyeliner, peacock perfect eyeliner and purple long wear creme eyeshadow.
I can’t vouch for their performance or longevity, but I do know they were lovely to swatch! The eyeliners are extremely soft and pigmented, and remained easy to blend for a minute until they set.
Have you tried any TIGI cosmetics? Let me know what you’ve tried below!
I was excited when I saw a post on Vanity Rouge about new Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick shades. Revlon makes fabulous, affordable and on trend lip products that I almost always love!
Berry Couture went on nicely, but was surprisingly light in color. In my swatch pics, I applied one stroke like normal, and the other swatch is a heavy and built up layering of Berry Couture. The lipstick is smooth going on, but the moisture really didn’t last for me. I was left with a light stain of berry on my lips that lasted several hours.
I think this lipstick would be best layered with a gloss for moisture, pigment and longevity. Have you tried any of the new Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks or glosses? I love the new lip glosses! I have swatches here
Revlon Super Lustrous Gloss
Have you seen the new Revlon Super Lustrous lip glosses? I found a partial display at Wal Mart, and grabbed the two prettiest shades! The purple shade is Sugar Violet, which I would describe as a sheer lavender with blue and purple shimmer. It’s absolutely stunning! On my lips (which are fairly pigmented, and mauve toned) it looks like a super glossy sheer pink with blue and purple shimmer visible if you look very closely. The formula seems to be the same as the gloss in the old packaging.
The second shade I picked up is Pango Peach. It’s a beautiful golden peach with gold shimmer. I haven’t tried this on my lips yet. If you like the old Super Lustrous glosses, I have a feeling you will love the new shades!
Have you seen, or tried the new Revlon Super Lustrous glosses? I’d love to hear if you have!
