Mark Hill MiracOILicious Intensive Treatment

A few months ago some of my beauty blogger friends were raving about the new hair care line from world-renowned celebrity hairstylist, Mark Hill. I was excited to stumble on the line in Walgreens a couple of weeks ago.
The first product I’m reviewing is the MiracOILicious 2 minute Intensive Treatment with Moroccan argan oil.

This deep conditioning treatment is part of the repair range for over styled and heat damaged hair. It’s thick and creamy, and smells ahhhh-mazing!! I left it on longer than the suggested two minutes, as I knew my damaged hair could use a little extra tlc. I styled my hair like I typically do after I used the treatment, with the hair dryer and flat iron. My hair was bouncy and light, and much softer and less frizzy than it has been. I really noticed a difference in the texture and look of my hair!

I would highly recommend Mark Hill’s MiracOILicious intensive treatment if your hair needs a major moisture boost, and some repair! It’s a total drug store steal, at $11.99 for 6.7fl oz. The ingredients are listed below.

Mark Hill MiracOILicious Intensive Treatment ingredients:

Rosehip Seed Oil – Nature’s Retin A

Rosehip seed oil is extracted from the wild rose primarily grown in Chile. Although it is an oil, it’s on the dry side. Non greasy, very light and the fact that it absorbs quickly make rosehip seed oil a perfect oil for skin and hair.

Rosehip seed oil is a natural alternative to increase skin’s cell renewal (just like Retin A!!),

rejuvenate and repair skin’s surface.

Still need a reason to try this natural miracle? Rosehip oil is anti inflammatory, full of anti oxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamins. Specifically, it contains vitamins A and C, lycopene,

tocopherols, Oleic Acid (Omega 9), Linoleic Acid (Omega 6) and Linolenic Acid (Omega 3).

I use Rosehip seed oil for fading acne scars and hyper pigmentation, dry scalp, eczema and

under my face cream if I am particularly dry. It’s gentle enough to use around your eyes as well! In addition, Rosehip seed oil is good for UV damage, burns, dry cuticles and hair.

There are a number of serums that have become popular lately, which contain Rosehip seed oil. I have tried Pai’s Rosehip BioRegenerate oil, and undiluted organic Rosehip seed oil.

Find Rosehip Seed Oil on Amazon

When looking for oil, make sure to get organic, cold pressed Rosehip oil in a glass bottle. Rosehip seed oil is known to be susceptible to temperature fluctuations, light and oxygen.

ArganEsque Moroccan Hair Treatment giveaway and review

If I had to choose one oil to use in my hair, it would be Argan Oil. For that reason, I jumped at the opportunity to test and review ArganEsque Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Treatment. ArganEsque is a luxurious Moroccan Argan oil hair treatment. You can use it as you would a hair serum, applying to wet hair before heat styling. It can also be applied to dry hair to tame frizz and smooth fine baby hairs. Did I mention it’s safe to use on extensions and wigs?

It can be used as a mask, by applying from scalp to the ends of hair and massaging in. Leave the oil on for 30 minutes, and shampoo and condition like normal.

It also can be used as a pre treatment before coloring. I put this to the test and it worked amazingly well! Before I colored my hair, I concentrated ArganEsque on my ends and around my hairline. By doing this, I got a nice even application of hair color. I also didn’t get a hair color stain around my hairline like I usually do. I also had no dry irritated areas of my hairline. As much as I love using ArganEsque as a hair serum/heat protectant, I found the use of it during hair coloring was essential!

ArganEsque comes in a glass bottle (it looks like a perfume bottle!) and contains 3.4fl oz.
ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Butylphenyl methyl propional, Argania Spinoza Kernel Oil (Argan Oil), Linseed Extract, Fragrance supplement,Yellow #11, Red #17, Coumarin, Benzyl Benzoate and Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone.

ArganEsque claims to improve manageability, restore health and strength, add shine and a silky finish. I can say without a doubt, it does all this and more! The lovely people at ArganEsque are providing a bottle that you can enter to win! There are no losers, so if you don’t win I have a 30% off coupon code for you to order your own bottle!
