Clinique Black Honey NOTD & Giveaway

Black Honey eyeshadow and nail polish

Clinique’s Black Honey is an iconic black cherry shade, that is said to look good on all skin tones and colors. Some bloggers friends and I thought it would be fun to share our favorite Black Honey products, and give you a chance to win them! I love the Black Honey nail polish. It’s my one and only polish from Clinique. It’s a deep vampy shade, with a nice thin formula that self levels well. I found it to be quite fast drying as well. It’s super glossy, even without top coat. I’ve used 3 coats of polish for my mani. I had some slight staining on my cuticle area even after clean up. (hence the reason for the smaller than normal nail pic below!)

I am hoping that my nails won’t be stained after I remove it, but we’ll see! I also love the Black Honey eyeshadow single. It’s a gorgeous metallic burgundy. It works well wet or dry, and has a great soft and smooth formula. Shades like this work especially well on my blue-gray eyes.
Here’s the Black Honey Gift Set we’re giving away! Check out the other bloggers posts on Black Honey to see their favorite way to wear this beautiful fall shade.

Easy Summer Eye Look with Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes

Here’s a super easy summer eye I created using 2 colors and no makeup brushes! I did use my typical eye primer (MAC Painterly), then I smudged my Clinique chubby shadow stick in Ample Amber all over my lid. I blended up to the crease. I smudged my Clinique Fuller Fudge shadow stick along my lashline and smudged it a bit with my finger. I added mascara, and was good to go! It lasted all day looking fresh and pulled together!

This was my first time trying the Clinique Chubby sticks for eyes. I really liked them! I am definitely going back for the purple shades! I think the two neutral colors I chose are great choices for blue eyes especially!

Have you tried the chubby shadow sticks? What is your go-to easy makeup routine for summer?
