Scalding Emerald is so unique and I’m struggling with a description. It’s an antiqued greenish-gold with bronze, gold, blue and green flecks. When I think of “emerald” as a color, this is not it. However, this is a stunning polish and I adore it!! It was nearly opaque in one coat, but I used two to even things out.
The CoverGirl Catching Fire glosstinis are really a stunning release. I have been pleased with all the shades I’ve found so far! Have you tried anything from the Catching Fire collection? Leave me a comment and let me know what you’ve got on your nails today! Have a great Monday!

I love it! Such a gorgeous shade! I’m painting my nails with Zoya Mason at the moment since I just received it in my Ipsy bag. Its a gorgeous purplish shade for fall.

Yes, I think you do need to go back Laura!
I bought this shade and one other and now I’m afraid they’ll be hard to remove. I can’t use the polishes that need to be soaked off. Tell me these are going to be safe for me.

Marcia, I haven’t had any trouble removing the CoverGirl polishes without soaking. They are a tad more stubborn than a normal polish, but not bad! I do use acetone though. Hopefully it works for you!
What a unique colour! I haven’t tried anything from this collection yet but it’s got my interest now!
