I was thrilled to be able to try the Limited Edition Farmacy Beauty Box this month. I’ve been hearing lots of positive things about this eco friendly brand lately. While I’m far from an all green beauty, I have been trying more as I’m on my path to health and wellness. I am highly impressed with the items I tried from Farmacy, and can’t wait to pick up another Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask. Here’s what I received in the Farmacy Beauty Box.
New Day Gentle Exfoliating Grains: The finely ground cleansing grains cleanse, exfoliate, and clarify skin in one easy step. When you add water, the grains become a creamy and softly exfoliating face wash. I remove my makeup prior to using them. I find the Gentle Exfoliating Grains gentle and smoothing, but also leave my face feeling supple. I felt like it left some moisture in my skin, and it wasn’t stripped of moisture.
Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask: This bio-cellulose sheet mask provides an instant boost of skin brightening Antizyme rich purple broccoli extract. The coconut gel gives skin an immediate surge of moisture to skin, while the bio-cellulose sheet releases active ingredients into skin. I used this sheet mask on a night when my skin was dull, stressed and unhappy. I needed a bit of pampering, and this was just the thing! There’s so much serum in the package that I was able to save a bit for the next night, which I didn’t mind at all! It’s quite a thin mask, and I left on for the recommended 30 minutes. My skin drank that serum up and felt plump, refreshed, and revived. I noticed an immediate difference, so I can only imagine how much improvement in lightening acne scars that I will see with regular use.
Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm: This balm is unlike anything in my skin care stash! I was initially hesitant to try it because I was afraid it would make me too oily. I tested it out on a few small areas before applying it to my whole face. I can now say, this Firming Night Balm is perfect for dry skin, oily skin, and anything in between. As soon as you apply the balm to your skin, it turns into an oil-gel. It’s soothing and moisturizing, but doesn’t feel heavy like a facial oil. The balm encourages your skin’s natural moisture content, aids your skin with firmness, tone and elasticity. I also highly recommend this for dry areas, because it completely healed a dry spot under my eyebrow that had been a thorn in my side for a month. I also sometimes use the balm as a cuticle treatment and a spot treatment for my dry hands at night. A little goes a long way, and even using it all over my face and elsewhere this is lasting me quite a while. As far as application, I found the best way to be by putting a dab on my fingertips and letting it warm up a second so it’s easy to pat on to my skin.
Lip Bloom: The last part of my natural pampering face treatment is the awesome Lip Bloom. The herb infused balm is so soothing and actually protects lips. It’s a must have for winter, and as someone with dry lips I can tell you I’ll be using this year round. I have Lavender Mint (it’s not too herbal, and slightly sweet – LOVE!) and Citrus Lemongrass.

I’m thrilled to have tried Farmacy, and I am planning on trying more products asap! I’m so glad to have found a brand that addresses my acne scarring and hyper pigmentation, without the use of harsh chemicals.
