When I read that this new formula is loaded with ingredients proven to promote brighter, stronger, healthier nails, I was curious! In reading the ingredients for this, I noticed all of the polishes contain bamboo powder. I immediately assumed it was a strengthener (just because bamboo is known for its strength), but doing some digging I found that the powder is loaded with minerals and a good source of natural silica. So it would appear, it does have the potential to be beneficial to your nails! The polishes also contain diamond powder, though I couldn’t find any long-term benefits to using that on your nails in a small amount.
I do agree with most of the above claims from butter LONDON. The 10 days of wear isn’t happening, but I’m prone to changing my polish everyday or two. I actually wore Shop Girl for 3 days and it performed very well. I’m not much for nude shades (give me ALL the brights!), but I actually loved this palette cleansing nude once I applied it. It’s the perfect tone, and not too warm for my neutral/cool skin!
The new butter LONDON patent shine polishes are the same size as the original bottles, but retail for $18 compared to $15. I like the new stronger formula, which is ultra shiny and looks more like a gel mani. I’m giving away four shades, so enter to win if you are in the US and would like to try!
Here are the shades you will win:
Shop Girl - soft beige cream
Chat Up - deep blue creme
Over the Moon - warm grey creme
Her Majesty’s Red - true red creme
