Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss

The Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss gets my vote for the best product to come out of the drugstore this Spring! This line of high shine lip glosses come in 14 shades, from nude to deep berry. The formula is thick and clings to lips, giving it a bit more lasting power than normal gloss. It’s sticky, but not as much so as MAC Lipglass. The formula feels moisturizing and is great on my dry lips. The deeper shades that I have (Ravish Raspberry and Mauve Fetish) are pigmented enough to leave a stain after the gloss has faded. These vanilla scented beauties are $5.49 for a .21oz tube at retailers.

The shades I have (pictured top to bottom)
Luminous - peachy gloss with gold sparkle
Sweet Grapefruit - Coral Pink cream
Ravish Raspberry - Raspberry cream
Mauve Fetish - Mauve with gold shimmer

Have you tried the Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss? Any favorites from Milani?

Milani Power Lip Lasting & Moisturizing Gloss Stain Review

Milani products are some of the best in the drugstore. I love the new Brilliant Shine lipgloss, and their lipsticks are fabulous too! I wanted to love the new Milani Power Lip Lasting & Moisturizing Gloss Stains. They are glossy and pigmented, with a gorgeous selection of colors. The packaging is small, just a bit larger than a lip balm. They have a brush tip applicator that you click to get the product out. I tested Macaroon (medium pink cream) and Cabaret Blend (deep berry cream). The colors are lovely, application is easy and they are beautiful and glossy. The let down for me, is that they make my already dry lips, even drier.
I tried putting a balm under the Gloss Stain, which didn’t seem to help. While they didn’t work out for me, I know the new Milani Gloss Stains are very popular. You will probably see these glosses on the blog sale page soon!
Do you have any Milani favorites?

MAC Lipstick - Drugstore dupes!!

Just a quickie post and pic.
I don’t have either MAC counterpart, so I can’t confirm this personally.
From swatches, they look like pretty good dupes to me!

Milani “Barely There” is supposed to be similar to MAC Blankety.
I LOVE the formula of the Milani lipstick! Its my one and only Milani lippie. Its very creamy and smooth! It doesn’t last long, but in the winter I’d gladly reapply often, than have a long lasting lipstick that makes my already chapped lips even worse!

Revlon Super Lustrous in “Primrose Pink” is supposed to be similar to MAC Angel.
This looks dry on my lips, but doesn’t necessarily feel drying. Maybe it’ll be a go-to in the summer. The color is really pretty, but I can’t pull it off right now with my Casper skin tone.

Any dupes you love, or on your wish list? I’d love to hear!

Revlon Primrose Pink on the left and Milani Barely There on the right. The Milani looks more orange toned in the pic than it actually is.

NOTD - Gelish with Milani glitter tips!

Glitter makes me happy. I need some happiness! This month has been a roller coaster with my Lyme Disease and treatments. :(
The nails! This is Gelish ‘Light Elegant’ with Milani ‘Lavender’ on my tips. It’s not quite as concentrated as I would like, but I still think it looks nice!

I love doing the Gelish nails at home! I won’t ever go back to regular polish. Well, if I use regular polish I put it in top of a Gelish base. I can’t wait to get a few new colors!
