Dr. Scholl’s newest insoles, are the Active Series, which promise to reduce shock by 40%. My immediate thought was, if you are a runner, you need these! While I am not, I certainly can appreciate extra comfort in my sneakers! Dr. Scholl’s Active Series insoles are designed with triple zone protection, providing extra cushioning on the ball of your foot, reinforced arch support and a deep heel cup to help absorb impact.

They also claim to prevent pain from shin splints, runner’s knee and plantar fasciitis. While I can’t make any claims to that, I can’t imagine the extra support would hurt, if you do suffer from any of those injuries! What I can tell you is these helped my legs and feet feel less weary when I use them in my sneakers.

These insoles retail at just under $20. I say it’s worth a try if you are very active, and need a little extra comfort and support!

  1. I have orthotics that I got years ago that I should replace or have tuned up for my running shoes, but these look great to put in other sneakers or boots. I tried Dr Scholl’s inserts for high heels, and they actually did help make my shoes more comfortable so these probably do help. (I never get anything from Influenster. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Maybe I should visit the site more often lol)
