Ellen Lange Retexturizing Peel Kit review

Ellen Lange pioneered the multi step at home facial peel while working as a medical esthetician. She saw the need for an effective kit that was accessible to all, and didn’t stop until she had perfected her product. Her products contain glycolic acid, which eliminates dry patches, controls periodic breakouts, minimizes fine lines and wrinkles, and evens out skin tone. The benefits and results are both immediate, and long-term. Ellen’s Retexturizing Peel kit contains a 2oz Peel Prep Scrub which contains enzymes and a light exfoliant to prep your skin for the peel. You will also receive 60 pre moistened glycolic peel pads and the 1.5 oz glycolic peel solution.

The kit is simple to use. Once a week after thorough makeup removal, massage the scrub gently on your face for 30-60 seconds.  Leave on for an additional minute before rinsing. Wipe an accelerator pad over your face, and allow to dry. Measure out the glycolic solution in the provided cup, and use the fan brush to apply. The peel immediately begins to foam. It’s a light bubbling sensation, never uncomfortable. After a few minutes, you will massage the foam on your face and allow it to foam once more before rinsing off. I always like to follow up my peel with a nice oil serum and facial massage, followed by a rich cream.

The whole process takes less than ten minutes, and you will see brighter, smoother skin immediately. I have no redness when using the Retexturizing Peel kit, in fact I experience the opposite. The redness in my cheeks is calmed considerably. I also didn’t experience any peeling or flaking in the days following the peel. I honestly can’t think of any cons to this kit!

Ellen’s peel is completely wheat and gluten free. You can purchase the kit for $79, which has enough for at least 10 peels. Please click my affiliate link below to purchase online. If you have tried the peel already, I’d love to hear your results! I’ve heard so many positive and glowing reviews from blogging friends. Not to mention, the fact that Ellen Lange has been featured (and awarded!) in many magazines! If you decide to try it out, please let me know how you like it.

That looks awesome! I would have been afraid to try it, because I associate retexturizing with redness and peeling!
