Olfactif, per usual, has discovered amazing scents to share with niche fragrance lovers this month.
October’s collection is titled, “Tis better to have loved.”
Included are scents from Yosh, Smell Bent and Imaginary Authors.
U4EAHH! from Yosh notes: pomegranate, aloe vera, cucumber, pear and water lily.
My first impressions: LOVE this! I absolutely love a pear note in perfumes. I find it to
be underutilized. This is a gentle, delicate and soft fragrance that I can see wearing for many occasions.
Walk of Shame from Smell Bent notes: overcast skies, the chill of cold concrete,
a waft of bodega blossoms, a bit of morning after musk.
I haven’t tested this yet, so stay tuned!
Cape Heartache from Imaginary Authors notes: Douglas fir, pine resin, western hemlock,
vanilla leaf, strawberry, old growth, mountain fog.
My first impressions: LOVE this! Josh Meyer is the artist behind the fragrance. He’s got an amazing talent for combining notes that are unexpected, yet just WORK. Cape Heartache is soft fir, pine resin and hemlock that softens even more giving way to a sweet strawberry. This is lovely, and something I’d never thought to combine! It lasts on me for 6+ hours as well.
Have you tried any of these scents? What perfumes are you loving this month?
