As promised in my last nail post, with Red Carpet Mani’s Ravishing Raspberry, I am back with more from the Summer Collection, Sweet Indulgence. Sorbet Soiree is a teal creme and Pineapple Premiere is a yellow creme. Yellow is the only color I hesitate to wear on my nails, because it doesn’t always look good with my skin tone. It seems to enhance the redness of my hands.
That said, I am really liking this super wearable shade! It’s between a pastel and a neon, and just beautiful! The formula, however, leaves a me a little disgruntled. First of all, my brush bristles were coming out, and some were bent. I’m guessing this was just a fluke because I’ve never had that happen with any of my Red Carpet Mani collection. The polish was really patchy and thin the first coat, the second coat was still a little too thin, the third coat was opaque but a bit too thick and streaky at this point. It wasn’t the worst formula, but I probably wouldn’t want to use it on all my fingers. Using it for nail art or accent nails worked out ok.
