Sinful Shine Prosecco

Sinful Shine Prosecco

I finally stumbled on this hard to find beauty at Walgreens a couple of weeks ago. This is part of the Sinful Colors Shining Bright Off the Runway collection. This was the last Prosecco, or I would have grabbed them all! I was a tiny bit disappointed when I saw it in the bottle. It’s light gray/beige with gold micro shimmer. Pretty, but my hopes were high with all the buzz this shade’s been creating! I changed my mind as soon as I put it on my nails. What a stunning neutral polish! It’s a unique color combination, that I have nothing to compare it to. It’s a little thin, but I reached full opacity in three coats. It’s very smooth and super glossy. I find the Sinful Shine polishes hold up really well.
Have you tried Prosecco? Any Sinful Colors polish favorites? It’s such a great brand, with so many options at a super affordable price! It looks like they are on sale at Walgreen’s still for .99!

Finger Paints Crystal Springs

The Finger Paints Pastel Rain collection contains 3 creme polishes with coordinating glitter toppers. It’s a pretty collection, but I didn’t think anything was unique enough to warrant a purchase, other than Crystal Springs. (See, I am trying to do less polish hoarding!) I polished my nails with one coat of Wet n Wild Megalast polish in I Need A Refresh-mint, followed with two coats of Finger Paints Crystal Springs. I would describe the glitter as blue and green with silver shards. It’s unlike anything in my collection, and I think it would look great layered over a variety of colors, green, yellow, dark blue…you get the point!

The only thing I didn’t care for was some of the shards didn’t lay flat even with topcoat and felt a little sharp/rough. Have you tried anything from the Finger Paints Pastel Rain collection?

Collab with Geniabeme - Pink Gradient Dot Mani!

I have a fun collab post today that Eugenia from Geniabeme Beauty Blog and I recently did!
We both had been wanting to try something different for nail art, and we decided on a gradient dot manicure.

One of my inspirations is from this blog post Pink Polka Dot Gradient.

I started with a base coat and 2 coats of OPI Sweet Memories.

OPI Sweet Memories

My darkest pink is OPI Kiss me on my Tulips, the medium shade is OPI Got a Date To-Knight, and the lightest shade is a mix of NYC White, Sweet Memories and Got a Date To-Knight.

Once my dots dried, I used Sally Hansen diamond fast dry top coat. I’m liking the formula of this much better than Seche Vite! It’s much thinner and not so finicky!
