Trind Nail Care - Beauty & the Beach

*disclaimer: My nails are not healthy right now. They are peeling, splitting and uneven. For these reasons, my mani isn’t up to my standards. I still wanted to share this collection with you, because I really love the summery colors!*

Trind is a Dutch company with 25 years in the natural nail business. Their nail polishes and treatments are meant to strengthen and improve nails naturally. This is my first experience with their caring nail lacquers, and it was a positive one! Twice a year Trind releases a limited edition set of on trend nail lacquers. Today I have Beauty and the Beach to share with you.

Appletini - vivid green with slight shimmer
Mint Julep - bright turquoise creme
Surf’s Up - pearlescent blue
Mellow Yello - sunny yellow creme
Burst My Bubble - bublegum pink creme
Miss O’Hara - bold scarlet pink

According to Trind’s website, the polishes are not sold in the US. You can order them from Skin Store however! Each polish retails for $13. While I haven’t used this brand consistently on its own (too much swatching to do!) to attest to the strengthening factor, the formulas are beautiful and held up well.

These lacquers are thick and opaque with most shades only needing 1(!!) coat. Burst My Bubble and Miss O’Hara are the only shades that I did two coats on in the pictures below. I really love the fun bright colors that are perfect for summer! I may look into some of Trind’s treatments, like the Natural Nail Repair duo. It’s said to have 3 layers of protein molecules connected to each other with moisturizer. My nails are really in a bad state right now. I’m having major peeling and tearing issues. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to leave me a comment about what works for you. My normal go-to treatments aren’t working!

Have you tried anything from Trind Hand and Nail Care?

I like colors! For your nails, may I suggest food? Seeds, nuts, salmon, broccoli, carrots are all meant to be great for nails AND a protein rich diet.

I haven’t tried any of these yet but the yellow and the green ones look nice!

My normal nail healers aren’t working for me either! I am test driving Probelle strengtheners and they’re working well.

Any polish that only needs one coat is sold for me simply because I always manage to shmear them while waiting for the first coat to dry before applying the second! Thanks for the tip on these, I have to check them out.

Mint Julep is really gorgeous! I’m not sure what you have been doing, but my suggestions are to moisturize with a good lotion first, then use cuticle oil. Do this at least twice a day (in the morning after a shower and in the evening before bed). Not sure if you’ve tried biotin, but you might give it a shot. I’d also look into something like OPI Nail Envy (I personally love it!). I hope this helps!

I love these polishes. They are great. My favorite is Surf’s Up. Try Trind’s Nail Treatments, they will definitely help.
