Violette Fumee is available from Olfactif for $330 for 100ml edp.
January’s Olfactif collection brought Violette Fumee, from Mona di Orio’s Les Nombres D’Or collection. This is a scent that reminds me of a breath of fresh spring air. Considering the hellish winter we’ve had, it couldn’t have come at a better time!
Violette Fumee opens with a fresh green violet and citrus scent. It feels smooth and relaxing, like sunshine on an early spring day. The dry down brings a warmth and sweetness, less green, and with a whisper of lemon. My favorite way to wear this lovely scent is just a very light spritz on my wrist. I’ve found a full spray or two a bit overwhelming with violet, though I do get a much longer lasting time. A pretty scent, but with the high price tag, I’ll just be savoring my sample vial from Olfactif!
Have you tried Violet Fumee? Are there any scents you are loving for spring?
