I have mixed feelings about the Gelaze polishes. I have previously tested Flip Flop Fantasy, which is probably my favorite shade ever from China Glaze. What’s different about the Gelaze polish, is that the base/foundation gel is built into the color. You do, however, need to top it off with a gel top coat. One less step/coat sounds appealing. However, I find that I need 1-2 more layers of the Gelaze polish than the standard gels. Not to mention the fact that it’s not as long wearing as your 3 step gel polish process, it doesn’t save me any time.
I still get days more out of Gelaze polish that regular polish, but it’s really not as durable as a 3 step gel. Enough about the formula, what do you think of this color? I love the violet with shimmer and small blue glitter. Gorgeous! I have 4 coats on and it’s still not quite opaque. This purple polish is quite a stinker to photograph!
What do you think about China Glaze Gelaze Flying Dragon? Have you tried anything from the Gelaze line? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
