Every beauty lover knows (or should!) that dry shampoo is a girl’s best friend. Most hair doesn’t need to be washed everyday. Finding the right dry shampoo that works for your hair type is key. The SHOW Beauty dry shampoo has the finest mist I’ve come across. It’s also a truly colorless formula containing polymers, tapioca powder, and rice starch. Botanical extracts include aloe vera, mango, kiwi, and ginger lily to condition and protect between washes. The SHOW dry shampoo works really well at giving hair some texture and grip to hold a style. My hair and scalp are on the dry side, so if you have super oily hair I’d recommend THIS instead. Another great thing about this dry shampoo is how well it works on clean hair, again giving it some texture to prep for curling.
Get stylin’!
Now that you have refreshed hair, it’s ready to style! I like to add some volumizing powder to my crown to add some body. The only curling wand I’ve been using lately is my Irresistible Me Sapphire 8-in-1 curling wand. I use the largest barrel to give my hair a slightly careless wave.
The Key to Messy Waves
Start from the top layer, not underneath. If you have thick hair and start on the bottom layers, you’ll look like a fluffy poodle in no time. For my thick, heavy hair, I do random waves going both towards the front of my hair and towards the back. The more random the better. Don’t curl every piece of hair either. I run my fingers through it before it cools which blends the wavy hair with the straight pieces. Once I have a wavy look I like, I generously spray the SHOW Premiere Finishing Spray all over. I also do a little teasing at the crown at this point. The Finishing Spray has a patented polymer memory system that gives hair flexible, brushable hold. Pro vitamin B, litchiderm lychee extract, argan oil, and wheat protein replenish and moisturize.
Finishing Touch!
This is my favorite part! The SHOW Beauty hair fragrance is not only the most gorgeous item in the SHOW line, it smells lovely too. The notes are caramel, coconut milk, almond butter, Madagascan vanilla, patchouli and soft white musk. It sounds like it might be too sweet, but I promise it’s a light scent. It doesn’t clash or overpower my perfumes either. It contains beneficial ingredients like rose water, vitamin E, aloe vera and jojoba oil.
The SHOW Beauty line is so beautiful, and I’m pleased with what I’ve tried so far. I’ve heard great things about the treatment oil as well, so that’s next on my list to try!
Are you a daily washer, or like me and hate washing hair? It’s such a lot of time and effort! If you love to rock your dirty hair like I do, tell me how you keep it looking fresh!
