I don’t know about you, but facial redness is something I have no problem saying BUH-bye to! I don’t have rosacea, but I do have sensitive skin with redness on my cheeks. It Cosmetics has a unique solution to any redness you may want to say bye bye to.
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Correcting Cream is a red neutralizing and correcting cream. Of course, because it’s from It Cosmetics, you know it’s packed with good for your skin ingredients!
Bye Bye Redness incorporates:
*hyaluronic acid
*anti aging peptides
*collagen
*aloe
*avacado
*colloidal oatmeal
What kinds of redness it is able to tackle:
*rosacea
*blemishes
*sun or wind burn
*sun damage
*age spots
*broken capillaries
*redness from physician procedures
*irritation
So, basically, everything. I liked that it’s not overly yellow for being a corrector. It’s pretty neutral, and the shade (it comes in one shade, I’d say it’s a medium tone) blends very easily into my skin. The texture is truly lovely. It’s a cream, but not heavy at all. If you’ve tried Revlon Colorstay Whipped foundation, it’s similar consistency to that. Maybe a bit smoother. Did I mention it comes with the cutest, softest baby kabuki brush ever?!
Here’s how I use it, and while it may work for me, you may need to play around with application techniques. I dip a clean q-tip into the bye bye redness jar and dab on my red areas. My cheeks are the worst, but I usually dab a little on my chin and around my nose as well. I stipple and blend it in with the kabuki brush. I was AMAZED the first time I used it! I have never found a product like this. It works amazingly well on my acne scars which are much darker than my fair skin tone.
I let it set for a few minutes and apply my IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Antiaging Concealer (review HERE). I may or may not use foundation over it, but I always set it with a powder to get all day coverage.
