Remember when I posted about IT Cosmetics CC Your Way to Beautiful Skin Anti Aging on QVC? I’m back with my thoughts on the set! I have previously reviewed the CC+ Cream, and it still continues to be in my daily rotation. The CC cream in this set is double the size of the normal CC+ cream. Also included is a Heavenly Luxe Plush Paddle Foundation brush. I love IT’s brushes, but honestly I’m not a huge fan of paddle foundation brushes. Until now! This is thick, which allows for a completely different application of product. I love it! It’s amazingly soft, just as all of the Heavenly Luxe brushes are.
I was excited to try the Tightline mascara, because I love the Hello Lashes mascara also from IT. It’s a great concept, with a skinny brush and tiny bristles that are more like ridges. I usually tightline my upper eyelid with gel liner. It does work well for getting the mascara right down to the lash roots and giving the look of tightlining. The mascara formula was not my favorite, as it immediately straightened my lashes and made them crunchy feeling. It doesn’t feel like a heavy formula, but my lashes are really stubborn and don’t like to hold a curl. This is just something that occasionally happens when I use certain waterproof mascaras. I’d like to try the non waterproof version of Tightline, to compare.
As far as removing it, that was really easy. It comes off almost like a tubing mascara. I didn’t have to work hard to remove all of it with my Clinique Take the Day Off Balm.
The CC+ Lip Serum Hydrating Anti-Aging Color Correcting Creme Gloss (let’s just call it a gloss/balm hybrid!) is a brand new product. The color is a pretty MLBB (my lips but better) rosy shade on me. It’s heavier than IT’s lipgloss and stains, but not sticky at all. It feels really nice, super moisturizing. It doesn’t last more than an hour on my lips, not that I would expect it to. I’m looking forward to more colors in this same product! I thought this QVC TSV was a huge hit. If you have this set, what do you think?
