The butter LONDON Lippy Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayon is a mouthful, isn’t it? They are bloody brilliant, as their super long name suggests! Many lip products claim to be the best of a lipstick, gloss and balm, but these lip crayons really do deliver. The added oils make them quite emollient, and great for dry lips, however you won’t see any slipping or sliding with this formula. I get a solid 3+ hours of wear, even with drinking water. The deeper shades leave a nice stain behind, making their wear time even longer.
My favorite is Teddy Boy, a soft pinky mauve shade. I’m pretty sure I heard angels sing the first time I applied it, as it’s the most beautiful MLBB lip shade! Toff follows closely, which is a light berry mauve. You’ll find a shade list and color descriptions below.
- Tea with the Queen: light nude creme
- Teddy Boy: Rosy/Mauve creme
- Toff: red grape creme/deep berry mauve
- Disco Biscuit: bubblegum pink creme
- Primrose Hill Picnic: tropical pink creme
- Trout Pout: light coral creme
- Ruby Murray: deep berry creme
What butter LONDON says:
Long-lasting, all-in-one formula delivers lacquer-like shine and high-fashion colour.
Intense shine of a gloss, highly pigmented colour with the full coverage of a lipstick.
Slimline pencil with built-in sharpener is perfect for on-the-go lip lining. Helps to improve lip moisturization with Mango Seed Oil and Marula Oil, formulated to provide antioxidant protection, and niacinamide helps maintain the skin barrier for smoother, more even lip tone.
The only drawback, in my opinion, is that these aren’t very purse friendly. The cap comes off a bit too easily for my liking. Also, be careful with the tip of the lip crayon, which is quite soft. Have you tried these?
