Happy Fall – and time to switch up skin care routines a bit! Here are a few new items I’ve added to my rotation.
Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel $55 and Murad Essential-C Night Moisture $65 – brighten, exfoliate, smooth, and accelerate cell turnover with the peel. The night moisturizer neutralizes free radicals, and encourages collagen synthesis. Murad has fantastic skin care lines, for nearly every skin concern you may have. The vitamin c line is my favorite!
OZ Naturals Retinol serum $25 – This is my first experience with OZ Naturals, and I’m going to definitely try more of the line. I like the natural ingredients, and appreciate what they leave out (parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, gluten etc). I also love that it’s affordable and cruelty free. The serum includes astaxanthin and vitamin e, in addition to 2.5% retinol. I found the serum to be extremely gentle and effective. I use it several times a week to brighten/fade acne scarring and as an anti aging serum. If you are looking for a non irritating retinol, this serum is a great place to start. You can find this on Amazon for $25.
Shiseido ‘Ibuki’ Multi Solution Gel $38 – this gel creme hybrid is a unique product that isn’t quite like anything in my skin care arsenal. It has a low dose of salicylic acid (0.5%) to combat breakouts and exfoliate and smooth problem areas. If you have trouble with acne you can use this as a spot treatment, or also use it all over under makeup to smooth and refine skin. I find it works especially well on pimples that are overly dry from treating overnight with strong acne meds. This soothing gel calms flaky areas, making makeup apply (and stick) better.
Guerlain ‘Meteorites Oxygene Care’ Moisturizer & Radiance Booster $75 – this luxe violet scented lotion contains a light reflecting polymer to soften surface imperfections and brighten skin upon application. The magic of Guerlain skin care smooths and evens skin over time. I love the texture of this lightweight fluid, and the Guerlain scent is intoxicating! The light texture sinks into skin immediately, leaving skin supple. The Meteorites moisturizer also serves a dual purpose, in addition to being a great moisturizer I found it to work perfectly as a brightening makeup primer.
Dr. Brandt Oxygen Flash Recovery Mask $69 – this 3 minute foaming oxygenating mask revitalizes and brightens skin. This mask comes out like a slightly sticky lotion, and it starts to foam and expand when you rub it on your skin. It feels nice, and my skin felt extra clean and ready to absorb my serum and moisturizer after using it.
Have you changed your skin care with the season? I’d love to hear what you’re loving! I have an extra Shiseido Ibuki Multi Solution Gel to giveaway. It’s open to readers in the US only. Good luck! a Rafflecopter giveaway
