Olay Regenerist Luminous, a great budget buy!

Olay Regenerist Luminous Cream cleanser and Tone Perfecting Cream moisturizer are two budget friendly skin care finds getting lots of use in my routine this summer! The Brightening Cream Cleanser has become a staple in my post makeup removal routine. I try to steer clear of foaming cleansers, because my skin feels so dry after using them. I love this Olay cleanser for it’s non soapy base that’s creamy and gently exfoliating. It also rinses clean and leaves my face feeling balanced, neither too dry or too oily. The Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream is a fabulous moisturizer if you have normal/combo skin! I honestly think it would work well unless you are extremely dry, or have very oily skin.

I actually really like to use this cream under my makeup, as it has an ideal finish. It absorbs completely and leaves a beautiful finish on my skin, almost like a primer. I love that it gives a bit of a soft focus look under my makeup. I’ve even used this in lieu of makeup primer, with good results. Not that I would recommend that in the hot and humid weather we’ve been having!

The moisturizer utilizes Niacinamide, a B vitamin known for its powerful anti aging effects, ability to lighten discoloration and bring a healthy tone and texture to the skin. The cream retails for $24 and the cleanser for $9. You can find them at ULTA, and if you have a $3.50 off $10 coupon it will work with the Olay Regenerist. Also in the Luminous line is a Dark Circle Correcting Hydra Swirl that I hear is great.

Do you have any Olay favorites? I feel a little reminiscent when using Olay, as they really are the brand that started my love for skin care back in middle school!
