Olfactif January Perfume Box – Winter’s Cocoon

I’m terribly late with my January Olfactif post, for which I’m sorry! I’ve been having a tough time getting back into my blogging routine after the holidays and two weeks with the kids home! Let’s have a look at what beautiful scents Olfactif chose for us this month.

Lightscape by Ulrich Lang New York
notes: Galbanum, Sicilian lemon, violet leaves, iris, rose, violet flower, cyclamen, cedarwood, ambergris, tonka bean, cashmere wood, musk and ambrette seeds.

Field Notes from Paris by Ineke
notes: Coriander seed, orange flower, bergamot, tobacco flower and leaf, patchouli, cedar, tonka bean, leather, beeswax and vanilla.

Violette Fumee by Mona di Orio
notes: Mediterranean lavender, Calabrian bergamot, Balkan oakmoss, violet flowers and leaves, Turkish rose, Haitian vetiver, clary sage, opoponax, myrrh and cashmeran.

I’m still doing some testing with this month’s scents. Stay tuned for individual reviews!
Have you tried any of these scents before? Let me know in the comments what perfumes you’ve been liking lately!

I never heard of Olfactif! It seems like an excellent way to try new perfumes. Perfumes are definitely a commitment so trying one before you buy is always recommended. Thanks for the review! (www.blushandbeakers.com)

I haven’t tried any of these yet!! Lately, well pretty much all the time I love Viva La Juicy, I can’t find anything that I like more so I kind of stick to that one at all times!

    • Amber

Hi Ange! It’s great to have you in the “tribe!”

  • Jessica InTruBeauty

Haven’t tried any of these as I’m not a huge perfume fan but that second one sounds lovely! I’m Katherine by the way and excited to be part of your SITS tribe!

I’m part of your SITS tribe! This box is interesting.I didn’t event know there were boxes for perfumes. This would be perfect for me to feature during my Fragrance Friday posts.

Very interesting!! I love the bottles!

I’m liking the packaging of Field Notes From Paris. Would love to know how strong the coriander seed is!!

What a neat idea! As many sub boxes that are out there I never knew about one for perfume!

  • Nidia Doherty

I love perfumes and scents. I have been using Bottega Venetta for a while, which makes me feel so sophisticated. Recently I tried a scent from a boxed set I got at Hot Topic, of all places.. and I love it. It’s fun and young without being too girly. Change your scent – change your attitude! lol

  • TinaBowling

Oh gosh ALL of these sound nice, I find that Bergamot and Tonka Bean are two fragrance notes I love. I have way too many perfumes so I really do not need to be thing about this!

  • Anastasia

I like Ineke perfumes, they’re so unique! I got into niche fragrances recently, and now it’s really hard for me to appreciate the generic ones :)

  • BeautyJudy

I love perfume! I like the packaging on the Field Notes, I think that would be the one I’d want to try. I’m horrible at understanding notes etc so I’m basing that off of tobacco flower, which I’ve smelled at the body shop and loved lol

I’ve never been much of a perfume-y person. I like sweet scents that aren’t too musty or powdery and those are hard to find!

    Lightscape sounds interesting.

  • Farryn

    These look lovely :)

  • FabZilla_Kath

I haven’t tried any of these scents but Field Notes from Paris looks like something I’d wear myself.
