If you are anything like me, you get a little thrill each time you finish up a beauty product. I have so many things to test, enough makeup for the entire East Coast, I’ll never use it all! I have to say, the opposite happens when I’m nearing the end of the bottle of my Paula’s Choice products. I get a little panicky until I’ve ordered and received my replacement products!
You can find my original Paula’s Choice post here to see what I used to begin my regimen almost 4 months ago. I’m happy to share that I’m still using and loving the majority of the products I started with! I’ve made several orders for replacements of the Moisture Boost One Step Cleanser, the Resist Anti Aging Toner, Intensive Repair Cream, Moisture Renewal Oil Booster, and Clear Daily Skin Clearing Treatment with Benzoyl Peroxide. I’m still using the 8% AHA gel several times a week, and haven’t even finished my first bottle yet. As far as new products I’m loving from Paula’s Choice, the Resist Vitamin C spot treatment and the Skin Recovery Replenishing Moisturizer have become staples in my skin care routine.
My previously normal/dry skin has been oily and a bit clogged this summer, so I may try a few different products out from Paula’s Choice Clear line. For the most part, my products have helped my skin effortlessly transition from Winter dryness to a more normal state. I will continue to regularly use the Moisture Boost cleanser after removing my makeup every night. It’s wonderful at leaving my skin completely clean, yet not stripped of moisture. The Replenishing Toner is a perfect follow up for the cleanser. I like that it is more like a serum, than toner. My skin never feels dry or tight after applying with a cotton pad. I use the Clearing Treatment as a spot treatment once or twice a day.
I don’t need to use the heavier moisturizers every day, now that Summer has my skin more oily. I do find that I use them several times a week. The AHA gel and Retinol Repair Cream are great for night time. The Skin Recovery Moisturizer is gentle enough to be used on the eye area, and works well even under makeup.
