Rainbow Honey Summer Mixtape!!

I’m super excited to share with you a sneak peek of 3 upcoming Rainbow Honey nail polishes from their Summer Mixtape collection! This collection includes 12 new cremes, shimmers and glitters which will be available on 7/18. You can purchase them from RAINBOW HONEY using the code MIXTAPE20, which will get you 20% off your next order thru 8/31/14. I would not wait that long to grab the Mixtape polishes, as I know they will go quickly!

I Wanna Get Better – peachy crelly with bright neon glitters

Work It Out – creamy bright coral

Night Sky – mix of stars, moons, and shimmery glitter in a clear base

above (L-R) swatched alone, over John Russo Oriole Lane (white), Essie Bikini So Teeny (light periwinkle blue) and OPI 4 In the Morning (black suede)

I love all three of the polishes! Work It Out is a gorgeous color and beautiful formula. This is my first Rainbow Honey polish that is a creme. They do creme polishes just as well as they do glitter! I Wanna Get Better is a really fun shade. I tested it over a white base, and on it’s own. I love how bright it is over the white base. It also makes a great accent topper over Work It Out. Night Sky is such a beautiful mix of colors. I haven’t tried this on my nails yet, but I swatched it several ways on a nail wheel.

Here’s the complete line up from the Summer Mixtape collection –
Side A
I Wanna Get Better – I didn’t know I was lonely ‘til I saw this peachy crelly full of bright and neon glitters
Work It Out – I know we debate it, but this coral is the perfect summer staple
Stolen Dance – We shouldn’t talk about it, but this pale kiwi green will entice you with its gold and violet shimmer
Best Friend – Sometimes it feels like I only dream in black and white…and in neon glitter!
Elevate – Time to pick up this Ibiza-meets-New-Wave blend of glitters and celebrate!
One Minute More – The sun will definitely shine on your nails with this sparkling lemon yellow

Side B
Waves – At least we made some waves with this sparkling, glass-flecked turquoise
Shark Attack – This glittery blue jelly is full of shark fins and that’s just what I believe in!
Night Sky – Let this mix of stars, moons, and shimmery glitters be the fire in your eyes
Lanterns – Light your way with this luminescent blend of iridescent and translucent glitters
Fall In Love – Fall into this cool toned crimson red jelly with sparks of blue iridescence
Control – Nothing stays around too long, so wear this hot shimmering fuchsia while the days are still long

So what do you think? Do you like the shades I tested? Anything you will be picking up from this collection? I’m anxious to see more swatches of the rest of the collection!

Rainbow Honey is so underratted. They deserve to have more of a cult status than they currently do. No one in Australia (except for full-blown nail addicts) have heard of them.
