I’ve only discovered the world of cream brushes within the last year or so. I have two to share with you today that I really love! You should know that I’m a bit picky about my cream blushes. I don’t like a formula that is too emollient, which for me is MAC and NYX. I love Mally’s cream blush and Revlon as well. That’s all I’ve tried. I would love to try Bobbi Brown’s cream blush, as well as Illamasqua.
What I like about the Revlon cream blush is that it feels creamy when you swirl your fingers in it, but it turns to a dry consistency almost immediately. When I did the swatches, it was already turning powdery. It doesn’t blend as well as some other brands because it dries so quickly. I don’t look at that as a draw back, because I’m happy with the texture.
Flushed is a bright pink that is much more subdued than it looks! It blends nicely to give a pop of healthy pink to your face. Pinched is a nice true peach shade. It has a hint of golden sheen, but it’s not sparkly or even detectable when you apply it to your face. My swatches are quite heavy, and not blended much, to give you an idea of the color.
Have you tried any cream blushes? Is it love or no? Do you like to layer your cream blush with a powder to increase wear time? Leave me your favorite blush shades and tricks in the comments!

I prefer cream blushes to powder. There are some great ones out there. Youngblood in Taffeta is my all time favorite. I did an entire article about my favorite cream blushes and still left some out. I haven’t tried Revlon though since I always worry about fragrance with Revlon.

Pretty colors! I haven’t tried Revlon’s cream blushes.
My favorite cream blushes are from The All Natural Face. Love their formula, price, and that they wear really well on my oily skin. They are not a powder finish, yet not sticky to the touch either.
