Winter Beauty Staples from the Beauty Council

I’m excited to bring you a few of my Winter Beauty Essentials, and link up with my blogger friends in the Beauty Council! Two items that are new to my beauty routine are the Evian Facial Spray and the Michael Todd Soniclear Cleansing Brush. The facial spray is great for rehydrating my skin during the day, even on top of makeup. The forced air furnace vent is right next to my desk in my home office, and dries me out so much. This helps!! The Soniclear is the first antimicrobial cleansing brush on the market. The brush is waterproof, so you can use it in the shower. It comes with a super soft facial brush and a larger brush head for body. I like this more than my Clarisonic. The brush is much gentler than even the Clarisonic sensitive head.  Serums, lotions and creams will work much better on freshly exfoliated skin.

Next up are a few new favorites for my dry winter cuticles and hands! I’ve been testing out some items from Londontown and their Kur nail hardener. This is my go-to base coat to strengthen my nails. I use the Restorative Nail Cream every night before bed. I’ve also found it’s great to soften my cuticles with it before pushing them back. (DO NOT cut your cuticles!!) Londontown products are all vegan, gluten and cruelty free, and their polishes are 5 free.
Stemology Cell Renewal Hand and Nail Creme is a serum/light weight moisturizer for your hands and nails. This lightweight lotion packs natural oils, nut butters, hyaluronic acid and sea algae extract to hydrate and protect skin. It also contains a blend of chamomile, calendula, lavender and arnica to soothe and calm skin. Fortunately, I don’t have any dark spots on my hands yet, so I can’t speak to that claim.
Bite Beauty’s Agave Lip Mask is my go to heavy duty lip treatment. It’s main ingredients are medical grade lanolin, resveratrol and jojoba oil. It’s awesome, and will heal dry cracked lips faster than anything else I’ve tried. The only bad thing, which is rather annoying, is the metal tube it comes in. It always cracks and leaks after a few weeks of use. At $26 it’s an investment, and I really wish the packaging would change.
Do you have any Winter Beauty staples that you’d like to share? I’d love to hear!

Oh, we have a couple of products in common. It sounds like I must put Stemology Hand and Nail Cream on my list. Unfortunately from all the time at the beach, I do have dark spots on my hands, my arms, legs. I’d especially love to try to fade the ones on my hands
